The Tardis Apartment

We have called this apartment the Tardis because of the front door and also because behind it’s unassuming exterior there is a huge airy and modern interior. We gutted this apartment in 2013 and renovated it to high standards. All the electric wiring,  floors, bathroom, kitchen, beds and mattresses are new and good quality. This flat is incredibly cool in summer. The bedrooms are fitted with fans which we promise are sufficient to keep you cool. You don’t need air con in this apartment.

Location

The flat is in a brilliant location opposite the family run Meson Las Gemelas, round the corner from two supermarkets and the free car park in Plaza Vendimia. From outside the apartment you can walk along the flat road that runs across the village allowing you to access the main plaza (Almijara), chemists, Restaurant El Pilon with very few steps or ramps in between.

Meson las Gemelas is a fantastic bar and restaurant with a lovely interior that is warm and welcoming. They have a large terrace which has wonderful views across the village and down to the sea it is the best place to see sunsets in the village. Don’t worry – it is not a late noisy bar so there are no downsides to being that close!

Layout

You enter the front door into the large open plan lounge/dining room. There is a large L-shaped sofa, electric fire, 46″ 3D TV and DVD / BLU Ray player. DVD’s and games are provided for you. There is a large dining table with 6 chairs and mp3 / ipod docking station (with bluetooth) and free wifi.

A long corridor runs out of the back of this room from which all the other rooms are accessed. On the left is a kitchen, ‘light well’ and bathroom (with utility room and washing machine). On the right are three double bedrooms, a large king- sized, a twin and another king-sized.

Bedrooms

Each of the three bedrooms are fitted with new high quality mattresses, duvets, sheets, pillows and towels. The two double rooms both have king sized beds, wardrobes and bedside tables with plenty of room under the beds for suitcases. The twin room has two separated twin beds, drawer unit and wardrobe. Every bedroom has a flat panel heater or heated towel rail.

Bathroom

The spacious bathroom is fitted with brand new top quality fitments – Grohe and Roca. Water pressure is high and the water is hot. The room is fitted with a WC, large sink with makeup mirror, socket, heated towel rail and a large 80cm x 100cm shower cubicle.

Kitchen

The kitchen is brand new and has a fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas hob. It is well stocked with cutlery, plates and glasses and all the cleaning materials and condiments you will need for your stay so there is no need to buy things like salt & pepper, cloths etc. Please just replace anything you finish during your stay.


Renting Information

This property is suitable for those with mobility problems as long as they can climb one flight of external stairs. As we advertise this property on several different websites we don’t have an availability calendar here; however we will get back to you within 24 hours (if not minutes!) so just enquire through our contact form.

This property makes a great holiday let because it is on one level, secure, cool, spacious and has quality furniture, an excellent shower and quality mattresses.
Prices are in pounds sterling for the entire property for a week. Minimum stay is 3 nights.
Peak Season July, August, September: £450
The rest of the year: £350

We take a security deposit or credit card details prior to your stay in case of damage. We don’t mind the odd glass or plate and would not charge you anything for small accidents – just let us know if you break anything like that so we can make sure it is replaced before the next people arrive. We would only charge you for something like broken windows, bedding ruined by make-up, excessive cleaning needed when the house has been left in a very bad state etc.

Long term renters

You can easily get the phone line connected. Prices for long lets depend on the length of the stay and what you might want us to do to the property before you move in but are in the region of €450 per month. Please use our contact form to get in touch if you are interested in this property.
